Courtney A. Teasley was raised in East Nashville, TN. She attended Metro Nashville Public Schools, graduating third in her class from Stratford High School, earning her a scholarship to Middle Tennessee State University. She went on to study law at Nashville School of Law, where she graduated with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence. She was admitted to practice law in the State of Tennessee in June 2013.
She opened her law practice in October 2013. Having worked at the Department of Human Services and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Regional Office in downtown Nashville, Attorney Teasley puts her experience to work for her clients, specializing in veterans benefit appeal cases and veterans medical malpractice cases. She is certified by the Department of Veterans Affairs to represent veterans. She also handles criminal law, personal injury and civil suits.
Courtney Teasley is a member of the Nashville Bar Assoc., Napier Looby Bar Assoc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is also a member of the TN Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers where she received the 2015 Massey McGee Trial Advocacy Award.
