Courtney Teasley has served as an Adjunct Professor for Tennessee State University for the past 3 years, teaching classes in American Legal Systems and Constitutional Criminal Law. Attorney Teasley has been the guest speaker at many college seminars which include: Fisk University, Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.


Courtney Teasley was the commencement speaker for the Stratford STEM Magnet High School's 2014 graduating class, where she delivered a speech via a poem she authored entitled "Do it for your M.I.N.D."( Mentally Initiate and Nurture your Dreams). She currently serves as the Mock Trial Coach for Stratford, where they have consistently won the Best Criminal Defense Attorney and Best Plaintiff Attorney awards. Courtney Teasley was the 2018 recipient of the Metro Nashville Public Schools Partnership of the Year award for her work as the Mock Trial coach for Stratford. Empowering the students to dream, far beyond their circumstances, is a personal mission for Courtney Teasley as she is a product of the community and had to use her M.I.N.D. to overcome her circumstances.
